Optimism in the advertising arena
A recent survey has suggested, that for the first quarter of 2012, confidence has grown among business marketers. There has been an increase of 16% in marketers believing that financial prospects for advertising will improve – a good sign for users of direct mail. Suggestions indicate that this positivity is due to some key events happening this year – the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the 2012 Olympics to name a few!
We are not altogether sure that this confidence has been reflected in marketing budgets however, with indications showing that overall, 22% of companies have increased budgets, whilst 21% have decreased.
